Each year, Greyhound Canada carries more than 6.5 million passengers to their destinations. They travel to nearly 1,100 towns and cities in Canada. In Canada, 1,000 plus drivers travel a total of more than 49 million road miles each year.
- I performed an intensive route rationalization analysis, to prepare for impending deregulation in Ontario. My efforts resulted in a detailed daily profitability statement for every single bus movement in the entire system.
- I created and prototyped various new technologies.
- As a member of an autonomous regional team, I was also responsible for various advertising programmes for all lines of business.
- Creation and congregation of the Annual Business Plan. Part of this process was the formulation of quarterly presentations for the company senior executive team to present to the board of directors.
- I assisted in the eventual creation of Greyhound Air and was also heavily involved in the conceptual phase of a Micro Management model.
