CanWest MediaWorks is one of Canada's largest and most diversified media companies, representing over 65 leading television, radio, newspaper and online brands across Canada.
Responsible for:
- Video vendor selection. Online Video at Canada's largest broadcaster is not trivial.
- GlobalTV/Entertainment re-design and integration with enterprise publishing system.
- production of: working.com, driving.ca, househunting.ca, remembering.ca, celebrating.ca, shopping. Total of about 21.5 million montly page views, roughly 20% of the CanWest Interactive network.
- Common and frequent interaction with Sales, Production, Operations, Fulfillment, Vendors, Finance, and other GMs
- Responsible for the user experience of all classified online websites.
- Set, prioritize and determine the implementation of classified strategy.
- Technical lead for all classified initiatives
- Primary responsibility for driving understanding of current and target customer bases and drive development and execution of strategic plans.
- Clearly communicate changes to senior management and to the broader organization.
- Prioritize and set consistent strategic direction and strategies for Classified Sites.
- Developing new product concepts as well as product line expansions.

- Redesign of Global TV News (1 national site, 11 local station sites)
- Redesign of Global TV Entertainment
- Redesign of 15 Digital TV Station Websites (IFC, Tvtropolis, Showcase Action, Showcase Diva, etc)
